SUMMARY:

  • These simulated Creatures will evolve over time.
    • Only some of them will survive. Hit [SPACE] to start new simulation.
  • Each Creature uses a set of Sensors and Actions to form a Brain. Random connections between Sensors and Actions are established at the beginning of their lifetime. These connections enable Creatures to behave in various ways
  • Not all connections make sense. This means that behaviors may be erratic or pointless. Many creatures will not have proper wiring to eat Food, and thus will not reproduce nor evolve.
  • Green dots on every empty tile are Food
  • Creatures can eat Food if their wiring says so
  • Creatures that ate Food will reproduce
  • Creatures will mutate occasionally (color of their bodies will become brighter with each mutation)
  • If there is no Creatures, the simulation will reset.
  • Some Creatures will establish Nests, sacrificing some of the population. Nests will spawn descendants of the Creature that established it.

HINTS:

  • If none of the Creatures eats Food, start a new simulation - none of them will reproduce
  • Be patient, some things take time
